I’m using this model .. but i must say the range is pathetic .. and fully agree with @Rameez
at 1st i thought it is my router’s problem or some setup issue .. to confirm it i borrowed Netgear JNR1010 N150 almost 2 years old.. that didn’t even have a 5dbi antenna . but still giving me marginally better coverage ..
so i tried to find someone who have the same TP-LINK WR740N router .. luckily i found a friend who owns it .. but he didn’t gave me to test it (kamina friend) :p .. so visited his house and tested it myself .. and the range is almost same .. barely covering a single floor .. even the signal is dropping to one bar when im standing in front of the router -_-
but interestingly the linksys and netgear form neighbors building are catching at least 1bar of signal ..
TIPS :
If you want to know how much the signal is fluctuating then use WIFI ANALYZER (android )
