    I am frequent buyer of snapdeal and flipkart,healthkart,cilory.but low cost product available in rediff which i believe like most people think. But when i bought survival kit just 77 it delivered at cost of 156 total.which is cheat.dont buy at rediff.

    I ordered four textbooks, One of which was Pradeep’s fundamental Physics for class XII and one biology by NCERT in rediff.com on 17th March 2014 and payed through my debit card online immediately. A few days later a few days later the packet came without the first volume of Pradeep’s fundamental physics and without the biology by NCERT. Pradeep’s fundamental Physics for class XII comes in 2 vols(being a big vol they have split it into two) total cost of which is Rs. 1129/- in shops. Rediff charged me Rs 1050/- for the book and sent me the.2nd vol which starts from chapter 5, followed by a regret e mail that they will send the bilogy book later, not yet received. Customer care flatly said that for Pradeep’s physics what they sent is what I oredred, and no more. So beware before shopping from them. By the way the page for Pradeep’s book is removed immediately.

    Never by anything from rediff. i purchased a product and wanted to return it, but rediff said to courier it my own and no body from their side will come to take it. this is really bad i swear not to take any thing from rediff in future.

    coupon is working but prices are too high after discount the price is same in compare to other sites.
    . if 150 discount is applicable on 499+ than it would be ok.

    Thank you SMI for 250 off on 1000+ coupon . Ordered coido tyre inflator got it delivered in 5days . Rediff seems to be good .

    Guys who are in doubt whether to buy from rediff or not , I think rediff uses fedex courier service to ship (my experiencr) so go to fedex web & check if they ship at your city .
    And buy from a reputed seller . Also it is good to shoot unpacking video of received item (in cell phone atleast) , so it will come handy incase defective or bad item received.

    placed an order on 11th nov 2013 with a promise of 6 days delivery. Today is 26th and my order is not in sight. I thought i was the only one who suffered till I read so many grievances. I doubt if Rediff ppl ever read these complaints.

    Vik, you are right. for me they delivered damaged product. i have sent 10 mails for replace the item with good one. almost one month completed no response. if i call customer care they are suggesting to send mail …waste services..hopeless services..     Rediff is the most pathetic shopping site ever. I am a regular shopper on sites like snapdeal, shopclues, tradus, yebhi, etc. But Rediff.com’s customer service is just pathetic. they do not respond to emails, nor do they answer their customer care number. They sent me wrong item, and my refund is still pending for over 1 month.

    Is there an online site for customer grievances where online shoppers can seek help?

    rediff is a bullshit site.. dont order anything from them.. return policy is worst and customer care is very very bad.. they dont hear any complaints and no returns if wrong size of footwear is ordered..and most imp they are fraud.. i ordered 20 luxor pens 1 month back and they delivered me only 10.. when i complained then they told me that they will see to it..after that i m mailing and mailing and making calls.. no response.. i am thinking to go to consumer forum for this.. this type of fraud is unbearable.. if u buy from this site it is very risky matter..

    Sorry for my shortsighted [in hindsight :-)] previous comment.

    This deal is indeed fake. I added a product to cart and applied the coupon. Rs. 100/- were instantly reduced in the balance to be paid. But when the transaction went to my bank, full amount was being debited.

    Very sleazy stuff from rediff. Beware. See the transaction details before OKing the payment with your bank or card provider.

    Not fake. At least, not the last time (a couple of months back, I believe). I got a book of 225 for 125. No shipping charges back then. But now 30/- shipping for orders less than Rs. 500/-. Still a good deal since most books are cheaper than most other stores even with shipping included.

    It is a fake website. If you use this 100 rupees discount code,the seller will not dispatch the product. Its my personal experience with this site. You also get difficult for getting the money refunded. Be careful with this website
